Horror!

Ever got fed up of all of those websites that bait you to click on ten different images in order to get what you are curious about?  They use all the old bait tricks too: sexy, scary, ooky, spooky, sexy again, scary once more, the odd, the bod, a tiny bit of awe, but nothing quite from God in the mix, no...! And, time and again, you fall for it, you succumb and click on it only to find utter and sheer fluff and, in the end, zilch, really! Well it doesn't have to be this way, you know...!  There are ways to circumvent this and the first would be to stop falling for this sort of thing!  Google any subject that you are interested in, instead: google it or use any other search engine you want! There are tons of sources of information out there and many of them do not lead you down a labyrinth of profitable clicks -for themselves- before barely delivering on their promises...  Most of these things are usually about fluff anyhow: ''un-news'' from the world of entertainment.  Movies that were made, movies that might be made, movies that should never have been made! Anyone and their cousin has an opinion, about this as about anything else, and so falling for such things is perfectly normal.  We all have had these moments (probably in the last hour, too: in your specific case, dear readers, it has yet to come because you happened to stumble across this blog right here - not anything like the culprits that we are talking about right now!) and so you will recognize this immediately: you get some spam, or go to a well-known website but make the mistake of clicking on one of its related content thingies *or*, worse yet, an ad... And the gauntlet is launched!  And you are caught in it and cannot escape so easily...!  Each new window that opens has more and more catchy titles and pics, and you cannot resist clicking on them each time.  Soon enough, you find yourself with a dozen new tabs opened, just like that! And it is just the beginning...  You ask yourselves, then and only then, ''why, God, oh why did I click on any of this stuff in the first place?!?'' For, just like that, all of the time we had to devote to surfing the web is gone already: gone as so much wasted bandwidth! We all know websites like those and we repeatedly fall for it - no matter how good our intentions are upon sitting in front of the computer! When one could have gathered the information all at once on a site such as this instead! We fall for the cool repackaging tricks - time and again. Just check out these two fine examples that we chose to highlight here: they promise just five but, each time, it could easily have been a dozen, twenty or twenty-five! With the quality of the picks, especially in the second category, it wouldn't be too diluted at all, I tell you! In the end, the sentiment is of having been tricked, let down, made to waste and lose one's time.  Not a nice feeling - at all. Being entrapped is never fun, especially when, once you've clicked on it and accepted to go along for the ride, it fails to deliver on most of its promises...  And it is doubly disappointing when such things are perpetrated by innocuous websites that bear such wholesome names as ''cafemom'' on top of everything else...!
Of course, there is a veritable web-within-the-web of these out there, on the triple-w: a finely-weaved web of deceit that counts of your regular sheepish clicks in order to generate a steady flow of residual income for themselves as ad pricing is based upon the number of visitors per day, week, month - whatever!  I can happily declare, for now, that no such system exists on my very own, precious TLB Prime Network: we haven't activated Google Ads too much here, yet!  If we ever do, this very blog will be among the first, though - you can be damn sure! For everybody loves Hollywood gossip of any kind: everybody knows that!   LMBO

Now, sure - if you're surfing the web on your ''downtime'' there,
on the cell, waiting for whatever,
then and only then can any of this stuff be deemed
time well wasted...

Now This Is *My* Kind Of Movie!

Just watch this extra-long FRENCH trailer
and you'll understand exactly why...!

Now, I know:
this has been another terribly realized
(only) sort-of-original idea:
the BROTHERS GRIMM were much better than this
but they lacked a Gretel, know what I mean...?
Not that I expect to remember her name, even...
Poor pathetic Hawkeye doesn't look
so out of place, here, as he does in The Avengers
(and, hey - what irony:
this is the second time within a year
that he replaces Matt Bourne Damon!
Good going, replacement ''star'' -
damn, already forgot his name, too!)
And it's always good to see
good ol' Famke Janssen
(always better than a dozen
Scarlett Johanssons)
in the type of role that suits her best:
that of a butchy villainess
without so much as a heartbeat!
Sorry, Jean Grey fans!
(Just wait to see how bad her neXt turn as
''Marvel Girl'' will be
when that whole Days Of Future Past nonsense
comes to pass...!)

Well...
No matter how bad this film really is -
I still wish it had been like this
-with two solid and deeply convinced
as determined witchhunters-
when they made that awful WARLOCK film
back in 1989!
Instead of the quaint Richard E. Grant
and under-performing Lori Singer!
If the producers of Hansel & Gretel
had had any flair at all,
they would have invited
Julian Sands (not Assange)
to burn at the stake
yet one more time...!

Maybe in the sequel?
Nah - there won't be any sequel
(then again... Warlock had two!)
